Arturo Vidal has insisted Barcelona are the best team in the world, ahead of their Champions League quarter-final tie against Bayern Munich on Friday.
The LaLiga giants finished in second place behind Real Madrid this season, following a stuttering end to their domestic campaign.
However, they defeated Napoli in the last-16, to qualify for the last four of the competition.
Bayern head into the game as favourite after hammering Chelsea 7-1 on aggregate, but Vidal is adamant Barca can cause problems for the Bundesliga champions.
“I heard something but did not pay much attention. I know the Bayern players and what is being said outside is not what they think, tomorrow they are not playing against the Bundesliga teams but against Barcelona, the best team in the world.
“I understand the fans’ doubt, in the league we did not reflect our level and that is why we lost, but we have Leo and other great players, that is why I say that we are the best team in the world and tomorrow we want to show it,” Vidal told reporters.
