Two years after undergoing an emergency abortion procedure, Milla Jovovich and her husband Paul W.S. Anderson are expecting another baby girl.
“Knocked up again,” the 43-year-old actress announced on Thursday along with a photo of her growing baby bump.
Despite the good news, the “Fifth Element” star revealed she had mixed emotions due to her traumatic past.
“After I found out I was pregnant 13 weeks ago, I had a mixture of feelings ranging between complete joy and utter terror,” she said. “Because of my age and losing the last pregnancy I didn’t want to get attached to this potential baby too quickly.”
The former model opened up about her emergency abortion after Georgia, Mississippi, Kentucky and Ohio pushed to pass anti-abortion legislation in May.
Jovovich took to social media, saying that she was four-and-a-half months pregnant and shooting on location in Eastern Europe at the time when she had to terminate her pregnancy after going into pre-term labor.
She and Anderson, 54, also share two kids together, 11-year-old Ever and 4-year-old Dashiel.
