GOC 7 Division decorated to the enviable rank of Major General in the Nigerian Army

The Nigerian Army has announced the promotion of 421 of its top officers to new ranks.

Details of the promotion is contained in a Nigerian Army memo signed by GAT Ochigbano, a major general, and exclusively obtained by MICNAIJ.

The Nigerian Army has on 25 November 2020 approved the promotion of senior officers to their next higher rank, 39 Brigadier Generals elevated to the enviable rank of Major General.

The GOC 7 Division Nigerian Army was found worthy to benefit from the recent promotion and was Decorated to the enviable rank by the COAS at Command Officers’ Mess Asokoro, Abuja on 4 December 2020.

The Chief Of Army Staff in his remarks congratulate the senior officers and urged them to be loyal, committed, disciplined and hardworking in the discharge of their constitutional role.

Indeed the indefatigable GOC in his hardwork and commitment in the war against insurgency in the NorthEast deserves promotion.
