Corruption and looting are at the root of all government activities. BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that half of the money from the climate change fund has been looted.

On Saturday (June 5) at the National Press Club on the occasion of World Environment Day, ‘Global Disaster; BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the remarks at a roundtable discussion on future plans and causes.
Fakhrul said that he was being treated unfairly by destroying nature. Zia had taken various initiatives including digging canals to save nature. Trees were planted on the side of the road at the initiative of the BNP government.
Also present at the discussion were BNP Vice Chairman, Major Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Babu Gayeshwar Chandra Roy and other leaders of the BNP Environment Committee.
